Machakos university students blocked the Machakos - Wote highway demonstrating the lost lives of comrades who were attacked on their way home. Some have been killed and others suffer severe injuries. They claim to have reported to the police and even the school administration but in the vein.
They wrote posters demanding the right to security and protection by police and the right to live.

Police intervened to disperse the students and business to continue as usual where some students were injured lightly, and others suffered deep cuts on their heads. see the photo below
