Teacher Training Colleges(TTCs) are government/private institutions where people join to learn various diploma/certificate courses. They are manned by a principal as the head of the institution. Like any other institution, the employees are promoted to various grades with the highest being a T-scale of 15 with a chief principal title.
TSC has posted 4 posts to promote senior principals serving at a T-scale of 14 to chief principals' T-scale of 15.
Requirements for promotion
- Should have served as senior principal for at least three years.
- Should have a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process.
- Meet chapter six of the constitution's requirements. It is mainly about job compliance certificates which are,
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Clearance Certificate from the HELB
- Tax Compliance Certificate from KRA
- Clearance from EACC
- Clearance Certificate from an approved CRB
